This is not luxury, and that is the point. Our cabins, teepees and campsites are rustic and completely off the grid, powered by the sun and wrapped in mountains, forest and the sound of the Elands River. At night, you fall asleep to wolves howling under the stars.
The sanctuary is a working farm and a registered non-profit, and every rand you spend on a stay goes straight back into caring for the wolves. Come ready to unplug, get your shoes a little muddy, and tune into your wild side.

Two wooden cabins, each with a double bed, bedding and towels, and their own kitchen with a fridge-freezer. A bath-only bathroom sits between them (private if you book both, except peak Easter and December).
Two teepees, one king and one twin, lit by solar. Shared shower and toilet, plus an open-air bush kitchen with a charging station and a fire pit.
Pitch your own tent beside the enclosures and fall asleep to the pack. Shared ablutions, with the communal braai and fire pit close by.
Every stay includes a day pass and guided sanctuary tour (valued at R350 per person), and 100% of what you pay goes straight to the care of the wolves. We run on solar power with free WiFi, and the cabins have their own kitchen, so you get the wild without roughing it too much.
We're rustic and run on solar. The cabins aren't insulated, so pack warm clothes and waterproof shoes, the Tsitsikamma earns its name as "the place of many waters." There's free WiFi and a charging station in the bush kitchen for teepee guests, though power is solar, so please use it kindly.
Our mountain water runs a natural tannin-brown and is safe to drink; we can provide filtered water too. It's a working farm, so expect the odd cockerel, cat or donkey, and the honest sounds and smells of a place that feeds a pack of wolves every second day.
