Tsitsikamma Wolf Sanctuary Volunteer Program

Name of the project / Bezeichnung des Projekts
THE LUPUS FOUNDATION (TSITSIKAMMA WOLF SANCTUARY)

Type of project / Art des Projekts

We are the first wolf sanctuary run as a not-for-profit private project and totally self-funded in Southern Africa. We do not breed. Socialising or our animals are done only in the event we receive pups from unscrupulous breeders that need to be bottle-fed. We have at present 38 animals in our care. We require the person wishing to volunteer to be a SME (subject matter expert) if possible in order to be able to carry out Behaviour Studies on wolves in captivity. Pictures of the sanctuary are available from our website. If the volunteer/s is/are not SME's we require enthusiasm and the ability to do hard, dirty work.
